Political Earth is an animated satirical mockumentary that explores the behavior of our world’s “political animals” in the style of a BBC nature documentary. The short film was created by Scooter Downey for a contest that was being held by Alex Jones and his team at InfoWars. Exactly one year ago today, we began the epic journey of bringing this film to life faster than any animation project that we’ve ever worked on.
Last month, Scooter Downey (the writer and director of ‘Politial Earth’) was interviewed about his Political Earth project landing third place in the infowars film festival. He touches on how he came up with the idea of Political Earth, what his inspirations were, and much more!

We are very happy and excited to announce that ‘Political Earth’ – a project that we were brought on board to animate at the very last minute – has topped over 600 entries and has won third place in the contest at infowars!
We only had 30 days to produce the 12 minutes short film, and the project was literally minutes away from missing the deadline. So Political Earth landing as one of the top three in the contest is a huge accomplishment in our book! We literally considered it a victory just getting the film completed and submitted in time.
Congrats to Scooter and Sean for such a creative idea!

The overall style of Political Earth has been something completely new to us. Nearly all of the visuals that you see in the film are of real photos. The animation style is similar to that of a Monty Python intro, or South Park. To say the least, it has been a very interesting project to work on.
